The site was started when Stanley Winston aka Ward wanted to host an Age of Empires 3: TAD tournament, a tournament which he funded the first part of the pool. It would eventually become known as the ASC Spring Championship. He asked Mitoe to come on board. H2O quickly became involved as well. I suppose the rest is history. This is to the best of my knowledge anyways.

What happened to the guy who originally created ESOC site? huh? This site is based on revenge of the PK AOE3 site. The revenge of pk chicks is real. This has always rubbed me the wrong way.

What? Ward and the other admins at the time didn't see eye-to-eye on creative fronts so he parted ways with the website and it survived until now. Ward did create the original website intellectually and physically I believe. It was first meant to be just for the one tournament and not in response to any PK Clan drama. But that tournament became huge and the website has progressed to where it is now.

ESOC wasn't even a thing until 2015? I mean the PK Clan drama is from 2013. Troll gon' troll I suppose.
