Hello everyone high IQ treaty players!

Please put on them glasses and plug that brain, because we have some exciting news just for you!
Again, it is time... Time2Treaty! After a first successful iteration in 2017, the new year is bringing us another exciting treaty tournament, for all you guys to show us your amazing artillery micro, economy management, and of course your endurance! By "all you guys", we really mean all of you — from the classic NR40 players to the 100-wall-layers Orinoco try-harders, without forgetting about the quickest BlitzTreaty players!


The Time2Treaty staff is proud to announce the upcoming Time2Treaty 1v1 Chameleon Tournament!

... Wait, what? Why are these weirdos talking about chameleons now??!?!!
No worries, fellow ESOCian! You will find all due explanations right below!


Format
Just like chameleons can change their color depending on their environment, you will also have to adapt in order to survive to this tournament! Indeed, unlike standard tournaments, this one will not feature a unique game mode... But three of them! Enough small talk now, let's move on to the list of them:

• NR40
• NR45 (hosted as treaty 30)
• BlitzTreaty (hosted as treaty 10)

But what's that BlitzTreaty thing?
BlitzTreaty is a relatively new game mode, implemented in the Treaty Patch. The players start with a pre-built economy and a substantial amount of resources in the bank (similar to the resources at 30 minutes of a NR40), and start fighting after only 10 minutes of treaty, making it much faster to play. For more information, you can check this.

In the early rounds, the series will be a Best-of-3. Each game of this series will have a given map, matched with a game mode (example: Andes and NR40). Each player will be able to veto a map and its corresponding game mode. The map + game mode couples will randomly change each round, but it is guaranteed that each game mode will appear at least once per round.
The later rounds will be at least Best-of-5, following the same logic.

So, let's hope you guys will be real chameleons and take the win!


Prize pool
The prize pool for this tournament is no less than $350! The prizes will be split as following:

• First: $200
• Second: $100
• Third: $50

The sign ups will be open on the 1st of February! You will be able to sign up directly here and only here, on ESOC via the MyESOC page: my-esoc.php

You think ESOC will donate to a treaty tournament? They are only interested in letting us do the sign ups and shit nothing more nothing less.
