could b I am wrong. But every time I make a post or a thread. this guy is here spawning nothingness, or hate. I would say that it is a big portion of the problem we face: a post of nothingness, or hate
True statement.
If only back in the day when the moderation team tried to make steps towards improvong this situation some admin wouldnt have simply overruled them and reverted what had been done.
The forum reflects the community. Apparently this is what people here want. You can't fault moderation for that. If you try to force the community to be something it's not, it will move elsewhere.
Be disappointed all you want, but this is what we have to work with. Besides, it's not like you've been the most exemplary of posters either.
1) this was not the point I made. I simply pointed out the bit of hypocrycy in n0el's post. It doesn't even seem hypocrite, but simply not genuine to me. Its just a factual statement I made anyways.
2) the notion that a community should just turn into what the most vocal group wants it to turn into seems weird. Imagine a hostel room with ten people. 8 would prefer silence so they could sleep while 2 are talking loudly. Its surely not optimal to allow those two to continue talking loudly. Theres many ways to influence the general behaviour and environment of a forum. Sometimes I feel like ESOC tries to cater to everyone and thus caters to none. Anyways the point that you cant or definitrly shouldnt try to influence a forum seems wrong.
3) out of all people you say Im not an examplary poster.. seems weird. I actually dont flame much, I dont shitpost or troll, I participate in discussions and have created content. If the entire forum was like me I bet you spanky and noel wouldnt be complaining.
