After 18 months of AoE 3...

  • Quote

Post by Snuden »

I have been playing this game for around 18 months now, and learned quite a few things;

1. Always have a back-up lighter ready during games - nothing worse than not being able to light a smokem. If you play official matches it's probably best to have two.

2. Warm up your mousepad. It is impossible to perform at the highest level if you play on a mousepad that is damp. I personally put mine in the sun for a couple of minutes. During rainy days a frying pan or the oven can work as well.

3. Be respectful to your opponent, even if you lost because of a big mistake on your part (for example not having a functioning lighter) Always GG your opponent after a game. For extra karma you can add a WP.

What did you learn from playing AoE?

Thats absurd. we can see you are new to this game by this post. you need more exerience and learn with the pros. I'll help you with this item from what I have gathered over the years watching high level games and streams:

3. When you lost because of a big mistake of your part, blame the enemy for not playing how you expected him to. Its obvious that you played better and only lost because the enemy game plan is stupid and wrong and bad.
