Re: How many DPI
On starcraft 2, most pro gamers play with around 800 dpi.
InNoVation for example plays with 800 dpi and 41% on the game settings (which is about 700 in the end).

Re: How many DPI
1200 atm. Until recently I was doing something very bad. I think my dpi was 800 but I had the Windows sensitivity slider on 7 instead of 6/11 (you’re never supposed to touch the windows sensitivity slider if you’re a serious gamer). Didn’t realize I could just download some Logitech software and enter a custom dpi for each level.

Re: How many DPI
basically it means how far your mouse moves across your screen relative to have far you're moving your mouse. With a high DPI your mouse moves farther. You can move faster but it's harder to be precise. Lower DPI its easier to be precise, but you have to move your mouse much farther. Generally for gaming lower DPI is better, since precision is important.Lukas_L99 wrote:I have 800 DPI
Re: How many DPI
I don't know how to find out what my mouse DPI is even.
Pay more attention to detail.

Change that. I know you're probably used to it but it's impossible to play well with more than 2000 dpi.
In practice you're probably very inaccurate and you missclick a lot. Paradoxically, you'll find yourself faster if you decrease your dpi. Trust me, I used to play with 3000 dpi, and when I changed it to 1500 and then 800, my mechanics improved dramatically.
