I don't like gs guide because it's too abstract and outdated. In addition, I don't like how he says you always need to play greedy.
I am not sure what veni's guide referes to.
Garja's aztec guide is very good but is slightly outdated aswell I think. Diarouga's guides, like this one : viewtopic.php?f=27&t=9722 are great aswell because it's very precise.
I will vote for garja because his guide was really well written, but I need to say that I used much more the diarouga's guides.

I think Veni's two video's on micro, positioning and how to be a better cav player are the best. Maybe this is just because I never really used Goodspeed's despite reading it.

I have been reading lots of guides recently, and to my surprise Garja's are really well documented, with several general information about as well as interesting tricks. The Goodspeed one is nowadays a classic guide, but still lacks some stuff (e.g. Sioux) and meta has progressed a lot since. Given the topic, I ought to bring up some other really nice guides: Mitoe's China viewtopic.php?f=29&t=12276 and German viewtopic.php?f=29&t=8101 guide, the Garja Spain guide viewtopic.php?f=29&t=4833 and the Wicked Cossack India guide viewtopic.php?f=29&t=12083.

Since wickedcossack released his bestseller last summer, there are too many indian players on ep.
Not a coincidence !

GS put more effort in his guides.
I think it's hard to compare these because both guides are totally different. GS tried to explain how the game should be played, and explained the meta in depth, while veni's guide was about mechanics.

The best guides are recorded games, because a picture is worth thousands words. Also, you don't have to deal with obsolescence as recs are the reflection of the ongoing meta.

Probably Zuterjection/Venividivici commentary (tips and tricks, coaching videos, inside the mind of xyz) + esoc-tv pro-casting --> nearly all guides on esoc are useless if your skill is <ms :D

Most guides on the esoc strategy wall are outdated, maybe the esoc-wiki will change this. I like the WickedCossack/Garja/Goodspeed guides because they are compact. I think it would be helpful to make a template for guides to give an quick overview and avoid novel lenght (or if you are interested you can read the details in the spoiler)? Then you could update strategies quickly.
