... There is about 90% chance there is at least one thread like this buried somewhere deep on this place, but nobody likes the person that revives topics that have been dead for weeks. So, here we go!

My favourite civilization is... I actually keep zigzagging between the Aztecs and the Indians, but I think I have been settling into the Aztecs lately. In a game where 90% of the civilizations rely on gunpowder-based units, there is something just cool about a civilization that uses no gunpowder units and yet manages to be good anyway. It is like the Batman of civilizations. The Aztecs dont have guns. The Aztecs dont need guns.

And my least favourite is probably the Chinese. First of all, I am not a big fan of "Quantity over quality"-styled civilizations in general: And secound of all, the banner army mechanics, once you get past the novelty, is actually kind of annoiyng as it makes it harder for you to mass certain units without getting a bunch of worthless units you dont want with then( Keshiks suffer hard because of this... )

My favourite civ is Aztecs.
The civ I hate the most is probably Otto.

France is objectively the best civ.

Hmm difficult question now that i think about it. I really like China and Iroquois Historywise and in treaty, but in Sup they seem a bit onedimensional. Otto do have many interesting units and are very unique, so are Japan. My first favorite was Ports back when i started aoe 3 because Cassadors and Organguns intrigued me and free TCs seemed quite good. I do have a strange love for units with area damage, high damage resistance or ROF for some reason, call it a fetish.

I do not really have a civ i don't like, but i kinda find many Eurocivs somewhat boring, because they are all so similar in many regards.

Yeah, as a general rule, I tend to find the expansion civs more interesting then the European civs as well :p. The Ottomans are probably the most unique of the European ones, though, in several ways.

The French always stroke me as perhaps the most... Generic, of the Eurocivs, but I didnt placed then as my least favourite one because Cuirassiers + Skirmishers are just that good of a combo. Plus, they are a great civilization for begginers in my eyes, because they have a somewhat straighforwards plaiyng style( Especially on the late game ) but are still versatile enough to allow one to have room for experimentation.

I like basically every civ, loved Portuguese from the start but later playing any other civ a bit, especially Germans even though I didn't play rated with every civ (yet ? ), I also have least favorite civs like British or Ottomans but I still like them

Favorite: Brits (1650 games and counting)
Least favorite: Dutch.

Iro is my current favourite because it's the black sheep of RE and is so underplayed on EP. My previous favourite was Dutch, but after losing endlessly it stopped being my fav. The one I don't like is maybe Germans, I have almost zero games as them and they always gave me hard time as Dutch.

Being the least played civ in the tournament (1.89% of total picks) is what I called underplayed. 12 times in 636 games

Of course they are underplayed. Are they bad? No, probably not. But no one really plays them very frequently.

Anyway, my favourite civ is China, and my least favourite civ is Otto.

It's really a tough call, but i'd say my favourite civ is one between ports and iroquois, depending on the mood i guess.

Least favourite is probably russia, nothing wrong with them, they are just the civ i played the least so i find them kind of awkward at times.

Honorable mentions that i also enjoy playing are spanish, chinese and french.

Also, what is wrong with Japan? WELL... I really, really hate their Yabusame, but the rest always seemed fine to me.

Fav civ will be Germans cuz of the war wagons etc
Least fav will be Spain

Favorite: Dutch/India
Least favorite: Aztec/Iro. Aztec because I just can't play them to save my life and iro feels a bit boring to me.

My favorite would be Germany because of all the impractically cool strats one can do with them
Least favorite: Iro—boring art design and either useless or generic units

Favorites: Germany/India/Portuguese, all of them have a strong economy and interesting units
Least favorite: Iroquois (by faaaaaaaaaaaaaar)

I hate all the TWC civs; probably because I've never player any of them, but I already hate them so they're not appealing to play anyways.
