Rejoice, betters, for you have all been awarded another 1000 points to bet with.

And now with tags...
Bets are open for the round of 8.

Somppu and kynesie are playing today at 20 GMT, so make sure you get your bets in for that one. Should be good.

I copy the names in the betting sheet, paste them into notepad++ and add a "@" in front of their names then paste them between the spoiler (and then I add @Hazza54321).
I don't actually get a notification, in case you were dying to know that. So I never bother to remove my own name.

Bets are open for the semi-finals and once again, everyone has been generously awarded another 1000 points to bet with. Currently leading is @Lukas_L99, whose reign started when SomppuKunkku 3-1 kynesie, a very unexpected result which won him a whopping 16975 points (and lost yemshi 13000). After that he has won another 5000 points and is now sitting pretty at 23670. @princeofkabul, who once got robbed out of 9000 points by a cancellation and once robbed himself out of almost 20k by accidentaly putting his points on the player he thought would lose, is close behind. At 22k points, there might be some hope of him winning despite what happened. He deserves it, quite frankly, and it would make the poor kid feel better about being screwed out of his winnings twice. He needs your thoughts and prayers!

Important: The first semi-final, SomppuKunkku vs Hazza54321, is being played today at 19 GMT. It won't be streamed, and the results will be kept secret, but since that is obviously not acceptable to the betting event, bets will be closed tonight at 19 GMT. So be sure to get you bets in on time and note that the second semi-final may be streamed before this one, which means the payouts for this match might not happen before the second match. I'm hopeful tournament staff will keep this in mind but just in case you may want to leave some points to bet on the other match.

No, he means Dia vs Kaiser may be streamed before Hazza vs Sompu is streamed. But because Hazza vs Sompu is played tonight, the betting closes tonight. This means that if you put invest points on Hazza vs Sompu, your points are stuck in limbo until Hazza vs Sompu is streamed and the result is public. If Kaiser vs Dia happens before that, you can't invest your points on that match.
