Recorded games - view lock

I've stumbled upon this issue many times now: I play and record some good games and wanna rewatch them to see the opponent's perspective. However view lock just does not show the camera movement of the other player at all, it just shows random spots of the map and doesn't move along with what the player did. For instance,early game view lock shows me a black part of the map, but on the other side of the board, the hero discovers a new treasure and takes it and moves on...
This only happens when looking at the other player's perspective, view lock seems to always work for my own perspective... but that's no use, after all I'd rather see the other perspective ^^

Any way to fix this?

View lock works from only the perspective of whoever provided the rec. To get both view locks you would need both players to post the same rec.

No way to fix this, only the recording player's viewpoint is included in the rec as far as I understand.

hm thx that's super unfortunate, kinda destroys the purpose of recording a game for me

Well, you can still see what they have selected, so you can sort of infer what they are doing / thinking about at the time.
