Hello guys I have a bit of confusion and I would like clarification having restarted to do the 1v1.
For The FF French I skip 4 vill and I send 700wood 700 gold(semi)or 700 gold 700 wood(FF) Why send 700 wood 4 vill 700 Gold I seem to go age 3 late, I'm a little confused I read some of you even make 4 vill 700 gold
when I reach age 3 it is rare that I send the 4 vill, so we send the 4 vill first of 700 gold because otherwise we will never do it?send or not send this is my question

Trading posts are good - they give xp which fuel shipments. Build a TP with a 200w start in age 1 or build it in transition to age 2 otherwise. The most common 5-10 huss semi ff build is 4 vill, 700w, 700c, age fast, and you still have a shipment available in the fortress age thx 2 TP. Without 4 vill, your eco is bad.

Trational semi is 4 cdb 700c 700w or slightly longer semi (with 2nd tp and/or 2nd/3rd batches of units) 4 cdb 700w 700c.

I prefer not to build tp because if you are going to semi ff as you said, and enemy rushes, you are going to lose that tp and give free xp to opponent.

Well it makes your semi faster, buys you time when opponent sieges it and scouts his army so id go for it anyways

In my limited (1st Lt) understanding:
- 4v 700w 700c: Slightly slower semi-FF with additional pop space during colonial (e.g. 2 batches of huss), TP, and/or second gold upgrade.
- 4v 700c 700w: Quick semi-FF with 1 military building and 2 houses from age up, so limited to 40 pop. 700w is needed for pop space and second military building before hitting Fortress.
- 700w 4v 700g: Samwise build, open with barracks/stable in colonial and queue both (exactly 20 pop), get housing from 700w and fill up both batches before the units pop.
- 4v 700c military (falc/goon/skirm): Against an aggressive colonial push when holding on for dear life. Pop space will be a problem so I don't think this is worthwhile unless heavily pressured.

700w after 700g is often just bad, it doesn't make much sense.

Kind of pointless to rush to age 3 with 700g 2nd card to end up shipping crates though. I'd usually ship units first, to try and do some damage with the quick age, then maybe ship 1000w 2nd card in fortress.
