Best Skirmisher(LI) type age 3
Best Skirmisher(LI) type age 3
There are many type skirmisher ,Off all skirmisher units in TAD (including cassad, forest prowler, etc..) which ones are the strongest? Obviously there are certain times when one will be stronger than the others (wakinas by teepees)cost/effective ,pop-efficient ect, but ,in general, which ones would you say are the overall best in age 3?
I also include abus gun iron troop and jager
Thanks for the input.

When you say best in age 3 I think of which one can stack the most upgrades in age 3. Which makes it either the forest prowler or dutch skirms I believe.

You need constraints.

No.

Age 3 ep abus are great, but you need to take in account that you need to pay 300w+200w/200g befor going into vet abus, while other skims are vet for free and produced in rax. As a result, age 3 abus is not a very popular unit. I would anyway say that forest prowdlers are better skirms because they are so good in any regard.

Where are Longbow/X-Bow/Chukonu/Macehualtin/Aenna/Cetan?
I think Longbows are nice units with the range card and X-Bows can be upgraded to Besteiros (150hp, 24dmg) in age 3. Quite relevant light infantry units to me if we only talk about age 3 units.

Whatever is written above: this is no financial advice.

In colo, it's probs abus guns, even on EP. In fort, I'd say iron troops, they're just lame af. But in fort with upgrades, it's strelets, forest prowlers or yumis.

Iron troops for sheer dps and rr
Forest prowlers are best otherwise. Upgradeable to disgusting levels and warchief aura for tank. Stealth to hide from cav and and even a range boost for way too much cost from war hut.
I still think arquebusiers are highly underrated but since they cannot be trained individually and also are trained by a civ with no notable goons besides manchu shipment they kinda struggle a bit to be found in the swirling china deathball
