How gracious. I shall try to squander the points less quickly than I normally do. In that, the five most interesting (and soonest) series this week being unavailable for wagering should help. How about at least replacing Aizamk's and Diarouga's unscheduled series with their scheduled one?

Thing is people already placed bets and I would have to remove them all in order to support betting on best of 5 series.

Due to a design flaw in the betting platform, we can't have bets open for both best of 7 and best of 5 matches at the same time. Therefore we will skip the lower bracket round of 16 this week, and will only bet on the upper bracket round of 8.

Since the remaining round of 8 matches aren't happening until the weekend, I have temporarily replaced them with 5 lower bracket best of 5 matches, all scheduled to be played before the weekend. If any of them ends up being postponed, it will be removed from betting in favor of the remaining upper bracket round of 8 matches. Bets on those will be opened immediately after the Umeu vs PrinceofKabul series on Saturday.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have ourselves a betting event. After 25 rounds there is no one above 20000 points, which is unusual, and the top 4 are all within 500 points of each other. #5, 6, and 7 are not far behind. And the sudden rise of @Kaiserklein shows that even those of us who are struggling for points in the trenches below 20th place, can still win.

@Cometk the benevolent is back on top. Despite donating 16000 points so far, he still sits at 18787 and in first place. Forgetting for a second his 8500 point loss when GiBthedurrty upset Risi123, he has been consistently winning points every match, often more than 4000. Betters who are out of points, you know where to go if you want some.
@Thrar, our glorious leader after he won 13430 points in the GiB vs Risi match, hasn't won a single point since then and has dropped down to third place.

But most notable right now is @Kaiserklein, who jumped from 1577 points to 18532 in the span of 3 matches and is now in second place. The momentum is certainly his, but we'll have to see if he can keep it up. Even if he does, though, victory is hardly certain. History shows us that the betting event can swing all kinds of ways even in the last couple of matches and the tournament is not over by a long shot. We have 8 matches left in the lower bracket, and then another 7 at the LAN in July. First, we have Hazza54321 vs GiBthedurrty scheduled for tomorrow (Monday) at 17 GMT.
