Attention all betters: Everyone has +10000 points.

At the start of the LAN I wrote that @deleted_user2, then in second place, may be the favorite to win it all and indeed, he seems to have done it. With only 2 matches left, he has a 136084 point lead over @Charlesh, who is in second place. Only he and maybe others in the top 5 still seem to have a chance at overtaking him, and only if unexpected things happen. We'll see if the odds allow for a comeback, but it seems unlikely. Of course, there is honor still in reaching the top 3 so don't give up!

With the result betting limit upped to 5000, records were bound to be broken and indeed they were. Unsurprisingly it's somppu who took home the biggest win in betting history: 102980 points when diarouga 3-0'd Mitoe. Once again it was proven that when Mitoe is in a series, anything can happen. One day he looks strong and takes down the now finalist 3-2, the next he gets sweeped 3-0 by the same guy.

Both of our finalists are looking jacked as fuck though. As does tabben, but he had to concede the series when the last China mirror finally swung decisively in diarouga's favor. This was a series that felt like a finals, diarouga being in great form but almost going down to tabben, the dark horse who played the series of his life. Raphael on the other hand was looking like he might be sweeped but then won 5 games in a row showing excellent form, particularly in a perfectly executed raid on Pampas Sierras that lost Kaiser 4 vills and any momentum he may have had.

It's shaping up to be a finals people will talk about for a long time. With the level of play seen so far at the LAN, it may even rival the legendary H2O vs Blackstar series. We can only watch in awe, and hope that both players show the form they showed yesterday.

Get your bets in, and best of luck to all. It seems likely somppukunkku will take home his third betting victory, but there is hope yet!
