Other rts
Other rts
Is their any high level player who plays other rts at good level. Like star craft 2 or age of empires 2.
I would like to know their opinion on those games. Those games which are more macro focused then micro focused really unlike our beloved aoe3.

This might interest you. new RTS game came out last week, made by small company. devs are hosting a $1000 tournament. Top 16 on the leader boards qualify for the tournament. I should be able to qualify, there are a few partner sc2 streamers that have been playing and streaming this game. game is called Warparty and you can buy it on steam if interested.

Dinosaur rts. How is this going to get popular.
Re: Other rts
Are you saying dinosaurs are not cool?! It's actually the most promising rts I've seen since... as far as I can remember. I already bought it in early access but unfortunately got no time to start seriously playing it yet.
Re: Other rts
I lowkey just wanted to start a thread of people arguing about starcraft 2 and aoe2 and 3. I was unsuccessful. Was interested in difference in playstyle and skill required in these games.

Looks pretty cool on a brief look, aside from that overbloated UI where you have like a homecity permanently open or something - that's insane.

I always liked the unit monitoring panel. Made it possible to observe who is dying and so whom to save: also, all the units and vills could be easily sorted and selected. It could also be minimalized, IIRC.
