I'm sure most people here have had the frustrating experience of having cannons (particularly falcs) do no damage when firing at a unit at close range.
Does anyone know if cannons are coded to have a minimum range? Or is this just a bug?

It's when it's both close range and the target moving from my experience, but not sure

Probably have to do with the fact the game uses projectile instead of hitscan. Lots of games that use projectile have issues with hits not registering. Granted that's mostly in fps games but I don't see why it would be any different here.

either way its kinda broken, its not like to avoid a cannon shot u go stand as close to it as possible

Well it's not like cannons can shoot anywhere close to them irl either tbh. But yeah it's just a bug anyway and it can be annoying.
