Do you watch your own casted games?
Do you watch your own casted games?
We have already heard various players (@Aizamk , @Mitoe , @Kaiserklein , @Kynesie , etc.) imply that they watch at least some of their casted games. Do you? How much? Why or why not?
last time i cryed was because i stood on Lego

Re: Do you watch your own casted games?
Almost always to see what the people think of my gameplay, and to see if the casters miss stuffs (which actually happens quite often).
Re: Do you watch your own casted games?
I always rewatch my tourney games, mainly for viewers comments.
I admit that I don t often look at the games I lost, although there is certainly more to learn, it s just too painfull to see yourself doing shit...

Re: Do you watch your own casted games?
Well yes if it's for tourney. Then if kaiser cast a rdm showmatch of me vs castete or smg (it happends quite often^^) I don't necessary rewatch it because I don't play it very seriously anyway, so it's not so useful to watch it again. Btw I know that a lot of players rewatch all of their rec even (it's too boring for me), so I think they do it for the same reason.
Also you can see who has flamed you in the chat in order to flame him back when you will see him playing

Re: Do you watch your own casted games?
I watch back pretty much every tourney series because I'm curious about what casters/the chat say. And also because there's always differences between what you thought the situation was during the game, and what the situation really was from the obs point of view. Like "wow was I really that ahead in eco then?"
And like kynesie said, I mostly don't watch when I lost unless it was a really good game (for example I watched my NE loss vs kynesie) cause it's just frustrating when you fuck up

Yes of course, every one. But I might tend to skip around if it's a lower rated caster, as opposed to kaiser where I even listen to what he says between games. It's really just Kaiser that casts me since I don't play in tournies.
H2O once said I did a good micro when I played vs Bramboy 4 years ago.

I watched a stream vid of me and another 2nd lt trying to 2v1 Kaiser, was very fun to see him giggle gleefully as he caught my uhlan mass time and time again with dopps
Re: Do you watch your own casted games?
Watching my own casted games is probably the best part of participating in competitive events for me. I wouldn't miss any.
I'm interested in all of the chats, caster insights, missed stuff, all of it.

I do for any aoe2 tourneys I play in, normally I will also watch the recs if I have time. Just to see where I fucked up/didn't fuck up and try to learn something from each game.

I also tend to the rewatch a stream where the streamer played against me. It intrigues me to see how the game felt and looked from the other side. Plus a few twitch comments
