Hey guys, tomorrow we're gonna stream Robo vs Zak Bo5

Afterwards though I wanna play scenarios, I know a few good ones but I'd like some suggestions :)

List below your favourite scenarios (ideally with a download link or just upload the file)

Agree with eaglemut, shapeshifters is a great scenario. Quick, silly, very fun to play

Yeah this is the best collo, but unfortunately somebody edited it (removed the terrain). Do you have the original unedited version maybe? (i've deleted it by accident)

I remember playing once a very cool senario where you could build units secretly for a certain amount of gold in the begining of each round and then try to micro them. Kind of like arena but you start with more gold each round and your units rebuy all army from scratch every round (which is much better Imo). I think it was clled dog war or smg

IIRC, Castle Blood is not a scenario, it's a random map script that plays like a scenario. It was originally developed by the AOE2 community and then was redeveloped from scratch for AOE3 by pftq.

Credit should be given more often to these map and scenario creators, because the amount of work that was put in making them can be insane. It may take months of iterations to build a map like Castle Blood and playtest it until you reach a form that is bug-free, balanced enough and great to play.

People often don't realise how much work went into something they get for free.
I love good randomness; highly addictive.

It's a custom map.

>Little ones

Maybe if pftq never made AOE3 maps, Aizamk would have never learned about the XS injection method that makes UI maps work.
Those map creators from the AOM/early AOE3 era were pretty much pioneers, who made a lot of things that you see in custom maps and scenarios possible. Pretty far from being little ones. Most creators who came later to the scene pretty much built on their work.
I love good randomness; highly addictive.

I don't like the original version. The cliffs are very annoying imo and its way more fun with the flat terrain.

Bumping this, I really enjoyed the micro scenario where you train units and they spawn into the arena.

Any other good suggestions? Gonna play some more soon

Gladiator! You have a ton of rounds where you pick a single unit from an array of them and try to kill opponents. For each kill you get 1 gold which you use for upgrades :D
First get to Age 4, then complain about Bulgaria :hehe:

These are good, but test them first. The decks or the balance in scenarios is usually not ideal.

The cliffs add strategic depth to the scenario, otherwise it's just a time to micro-like scenario. I played a million rounds of arena with sgtroflcopter; it's great fun if you have balanced teams.

yeah, the cliffversion is better for 1v1, 2v2. The map is a bit too small for 3v3, it's just the 1v1 map with no changes. Units won't spawn in later rounds, if you have too many (especially with china/russia). For 3v3 the without cliff version should be better, because pathing is really a problem. This would be a good map to remake/redesign.
