How to get fully upgraded ashigarus? Highest i got was 79 dmg or is there more?

highest should be 72 dmg, how did u get 79?

team inf/musk hp + team ranged inf attack i guess.

japan on its own can only get to 72 with daymio, golden pavillon, all upgrades and japs consulate

No, Yumis get like 55 or something. Ashis scale more cause higher base stats.

I remember playing a FFA in 2014/2015 when I was becoming active on ESO. Ward was in game too. I was France and max popped with imperial cuirs. He told me to attack him. He had max pop imperial ashi with daimyo and shogun. My jaw hung on the floor as I watched my OP uncounterabke unit get melted ez. He probably shipped the hand attack card too. I didn't know the scaling power of Japan until then.

I think i vagelly remember that you have to get ashi upgrades in a specific order do avoid a bug and get a bit extra dmg. is that still true or im getting old and misremembering shit?

ashi doing fucking well against cuirs

There are some native upgrades and team cards to increase this dmg.

On RE you lose -10% attack if you end relations with Japan in the consulate. I guess it used to be a bonus of +10% dmg before it was nerfed to +5% and they didn't change the penalty when ending relations. That's for all units though.

Many units beat 40 imperial Gends. The trouble starts when they add some skirms behind.
