They aren't really scary, you generally all in with your infrantry and kill them easily.

Depends how many. comparing them to falcs is nonsense anyway, they're cheaper and take less pop. Cassas also are cheaper than standard skirms.

saving for my flight in 2020

Btw, Organ gun fires 6 shots, each dealing 33 damage while falconet fires 1 shot dealing 100 damage also falconet has 2 times multiplier vs buildings so they deal 100x2 damage to buildings where as organ guns have 0.75 multiplier vs buildings, so they deal 150 damage in total from 6 shots. Also you need like 30 skirms to 1 hit organ but vs falc you need 40.

Organs deal more damage to infantry, that's for sure. They're just weaker against other artillery and against cav and have a shitty animation

Idk about being weaker vs cav. I'm pretty sure mass organs do fairly well vs low hp cav like ruyters and zambs.

culvs 1 shot against organs while you need 2 culv to kill one falconet, that's also a thing

Yes mass organs, for sure, but most of the time you don't have a big mass of them. And anyway you usually won't really focus them on cav either. My point was that it's usually easier to go in with goons or hand cav and snipe the organs.

Haven't read this thread yet, but am looking forward to when I get time.

I'd like to see porto get 60% range resist Casa. The current versions are just worse skirmishers in almost every way :(

But a 60% one would give it a nice role as a more 'intense' skirm

That would be solution too, we defenitely need to make ports playable civ again. I think everyone expect garja is agree that porto defenitely need to be rebalanced. @zoom please hear us

60% means they'd need 15 skirms shots to die while killing skirms in 13 shots. While now it's an even 13 shots.
So the current situation is not acceptable, but 15 vs 13 shots might be too good for cassadores. Ideally we'd want 14 I think, that would be 55% rr which is weird, so idk.

Maybe just revert to nilla stats altogether, where they did have 60% rr but less hp and a different rof.

60% range resist would mean to reduce all ranged dmg by a further 20% effectively. That's quite a lot.

To me, the unit design for portuguese is glass cannons. Do a lot of dmg, but also break easily (cassa/organ). Further increased ranged resistance would not necessarily fit in here. If you want to improve cassadores, you could just as good increase base dmg by 1.

On nilla cassador was better against other inf better against skirm cuz their high resistance
