Maybe we should consider to resend the official letter to Microsoft about the changes we suggest. I think they just start to redo the game and might have an open ear now.

On that note while I would like to appreciate each and every person who has contributed to making ESOC what it is today, alongside Eagle I would also like to give shoutout to @musketeer925 for making many QoL changes and adding features to forums. I feel most of his work has been behind the scenes and gone unnoticed.

That has been posible since aeo2 so I don't see any reason for them to not add it in aeo3. I've even seen some risk scenarios for aeo3 where you can change teams in mid game.
Sadly there are no players at my lv using the patch. Besides that the Tr patch took all the fun out of China by reducing the population limit and taking away the 20+ seetlers
Idk what your pr is but the idea that there is only pro players on the ep is not true anymore. I don't remember where but I saw some stats showing that the most common pr in the ep is 2nd lt or smg. There no excuse to not play ep nowadays.
If there are still far fewer players on ep that's a good reason not to play

Another thing I would see is making all the underused cards viable. Like the healing manor card able to heal moving units and Doble the healing radios. Or decrease the reload time of the Chinese monk round house attack.

Agreed. musketeer925 has been a driving force of the dev side since this site's inception. Appreciate you pointing that out as well. Credit where credit is due.
TLDR: - widescreen support - 4k graphics - improved ui - QoL/gameplay improvements - Apparantely they are working off a list of desired changes made by the community. - Release 2020 on steam and microsoft store

Like green dots near online clan members for example, so they don’t have to be on your friend list to see if they’re online (or catching their name sign on in clan tab). Or maybe an option to change clan name (not clan abbreviation) and so on • Improved QS with more options and a better UI. • Improved UI for ladders. • Improved Lobby UI/etc • Larger pest/friend list • Fixing FTJ/CRC •setting a unit build limit (like warships) per age for units like dopp/cuirr/etc in supremecy to prevent winning by cheese/trolling as often • A merge of elo and eso for a more professional site • Improved map/scenario maker with a very detailed “how-to” guide. Basically just a lot of improved UI lol

If they are gonna add new civs I don’t want any more boring euro civs, gimme some African kingdoms. And maybe even not the usual ones from WoL and aoe2. I’d like to see sultanate of Zanzibar (18th-19thc), kingdom of the Kongo (15th-17thc) and Dahomey (19th). These were all important and powerful states that contended with and also allied with Europeans for control over the continent
Zanzibar would have OP ships and gold eco with Arabian, Indian, and African units
Kongo would have elite crocodile skin armor warriors like skull knights and stealth /jungle options, I’d imagine them similar to Aztecs
Dahomey would have the famous women warrior bands, human sacrifice, vodun, and earthen fortifications

Yeah, I also think that a combined arms bonus would be better. Every unit gets a boost of up to +10% hp/dmg per different unit class (Inf/cav/art) with enough units in a radius of 20.
Would be comparable to auras and lead to mixed armies.

it would be a lot harder for you and for most of your buddies to win games without these type of units being abuseble so I understand where the no is coming from . lol
