Missing Villagers Bug?

Less than an hour ago, I was playing as the Chinese versus a British player and 3 of my villagers suddenly disappeared just before I built the wonder to age to colonial. I always age up with 15 vills and a tp, assign 4 to the wonder, 6 to wood and 5 to food (in that order) and this game I was left with just 2 villagers on food during the transition. I checked the display below the the resource counts that shows total vills and at one point it said 16, but I could only count 13. I frantically searched the only town center and village I had just in case I garrisoned them but didn't find them there either.

Has anyone else encountered this bug before? I don't think my opponent was hacking since I eventually won the game (albeit barely).

Did you check postgame stats? Perhaps you just deleted them by mistake[tho unlikely u didn’t see it]. I’ve got many bugs in this game but nothing like this.

If the game was laggy, it's possible your vils just started walking on their own and went to commit suicide at the edge of the map.

I did check the post game stats and you can see here (http://www.agecommunity.com/stats/GameS ... 19da7d954f) that I didn't lose any villagers until much later in the game.

I didn't find that particular game to have any more lag than my other ones. In fact, I'd even say there was less lag than most. I think I would have noticed if they started wondering off like in that video and now that I think of it they may not even have spawned at all.

Anyway, I'm not too bummed out by it since I won the game in the end, but I thought I should make a note of it just in case anyone else experiences it.
