I love it when these sorts of arguments get resolved by real games. Always felt like too much arguing here, when it could just easily be resolved by playing some games.

Clearly, it wasn't you, if cared to just pull the ip records it would prove it. In game chat also jass accepted its jass. There were lot many off pointers which prove it wasn't you.

On maps like Great Plains a dog-soldier timing is available. You can put about 6 vills on fire pit, running across the map again and again, killing his shrines and assemble your units. Axe+rifle is enough, and add 5 dog soldiers at 14:00 (6 at 16:00). Don't forget cavalry combat.
On small maps axe+wakina early timing may be better.

I am not salty and I am not even probably pissed at @Ashvin . I lost fair and square and I am fine with it. Its just that I didn't trust my instincts, I knew before game even started that it was not ashvin but it was Jass, still when he said he is ashvin I just agreed and let my guard down and play nubishly, I know it shouldn't happen but w.e I am kinda disappointed with how ashvin tries to troll me in the OP, when it wasn't even him...

When I said you gave I was kidding cuz I know you won't, but I know people make fake accounts all the time, so its possible that someone made one of your name as your primary is octanium, btw I am only saying its not you cuz the guy in game literally said, "how did you figure out(that I am jass)

In real games, treasures and other early game edges can snowball and the builds are often sub-optimal. Settling stuff like this with real games can actually have the opposite effect and lead players to wrong conclusions. That's how we released an ASFP that we thought was balanced but turned out far from.

It does help to play some real games though, admittedly. Just don't be too quick to consider a discussion "settled" after a couple of games.
