grunt was quiet. Not many people know much about him. _H2O said he was reserved and very serious. _H2O said in the ama he learned how to play at a high tier from grunt, and has a similar decision making process to him because of that.

well I already watched all wcg recs but I was wondering if h2o soldier and other old players who talked with grunt can tell me his behavior or so. Btw one of my friends told me he didnt let everyone to talk with him because he had the privacy on

I think I played grunt one time, like in 2006 or so. No conversation, and I'm fairly certain he had privacy on

I lost to grunt many times and he never said a word. I beat him once and he asked for a rematch, then proceeded to pound me.

What I remember was that you had all the top players who were really good. Then there was grunt above them.

He was smart in a way to never really record his games.

Grunt has always been a mystery. He doesnt seem to have learned from anyone and as far as I know he didnt teach anything to anyone neither. And ever since I started playing on ESO I remember seeing grunt at top of the PR ladders/tourneys etc

Grunt learned a lot from other players and used to play the best civs. I guess his English is decent. Everyone else would name his home cities and heroes in Korean, he didn't.
