Map idea
Thoughts? Just randomly sketched this out when I had an idea. Not sure if it would be boring, but I kind of wondered how the game would play out if all the resources were behind your base. Traditionally they're always infront of it. Put the mines on the side though so the edges are relevant and not a pointless barren wasteland.
EDIT: Imagine there's a normal amount of hunt on the map too
EDIT: The water has no fish or whales and there is no water spawn point

as soon as I can spam monitors on the water, agreed!
Re: Map idea
Probably you can't build in your own base due to TC radius restriction. Also transporting via boat seems a bit too gimmicky.

Tbh the building restriction could be a good thing for dock placement. It would be a very non-standard map and defensive building placement would be nearly impossible but could be fun for the occasional casual game. Whether or not that's worth the effort of developing the map, I couldn't say.

This reminds me of Advance Wars! I love it the thought, but it's probably a bit too gimmicky, even for most ESOC maps.
