I noticed there is some kind of texture bug on East European(German-Russian) Plantation on the damaged model on high poly. As soon as the plantation gets damaged it loses some transparency on the model on important areas. I checked that neither ESOC patch nor Improvement Mod seems to have fixed this bug. I checked that there is proper alpha layer within the texture, not sure what's causing this problem.
Any fixes?

Prussia was only part of modern germany. East Prussia hasn't always been and isn't currently. BTW it was originally Slavic eastern european settled by german invaders. Culturally I don't think you get more western European than germany. Maybe belgium

On another note, maybe we ought to start classifying the ottoman architecture as "Iberian"

anyway back to the original argument the architecture of germany does fit better with Russia than france so fine.

I think what he means is that Germany and Russia in AOE3 have common 3D models and textures (houses, plantations, churches (?), market, etc, look the same). And I suppose this was carried over to this mod he's playing, in which they're classified as Eastern European.

Germany did have one part that was once classified as Eastern Europe (GDR, remember?). But geographically they're at the crossroads between proper Central Europe (Austria), Northern Europe (Denmark) and Western Europe (Belgium, France).
ok.

It is NOT any special MOD I am playing, this problem EXISTS IN the ORIGINAL game. The damaged model of the plantation loses some transparency thiugh it has the proper alpha layer. I am trying to find a fix for this bug.

Yes the game categorizes Germans and Russians as one culture group named eastern european and uses this as a key to assign graphics to them, so they share buildings and villager looks. It is an obvious fact to any Aoe3 player that the two civs share graphics. I dont know what is the point of argument here, whether germans are central or eastern, that doesnt change the programing of the game.

I am emphasizing yet again, does anybody know any fix to this bug?
No need to unnecessarily divert the topic.

ESOC patch and Improvement Mod along with my own mod, graphics mod are always eager to patch such mistakes left by developers. So I wanted to attract some attention and seek some help regarding this problem.
