I looked upon the municipality Jerom lives in as I rode a silent train through a dark Netherlands.
Re: Jerom appreciation thread
He disappeared from agecomm and the new forums a couple of times but always came back eventually. I don't think he'll ever quit AoE for good, lol

Re: Jerom appreciation thread
The real question is anyone closing in on his post count for #1 forum contributor?

if we add iNcog and kami_ryu posts they have exceeded 10k, but the other followup is umeu.
On the Jerom subject, neither of the options is actually true. Before he left, he was saying frequently that he wanted to leave since the community wasn't fun anymore for him. It was a conscious decision to distance himself for two main reasons: not being fun and taking much time off of him.

Re: Jerom appreciation thread
Based on my admittedly fuzzy recollection Alt+D was one of the few situations Jerom was right on. Otherwise he wanted to kill Basement members and that's not good unless you're talking about two specific ones...

There's an obvious largely unknown grievance that needs to be addressed before he returns.
Simple as that I suppose.

I missed the alt d discussion but I remember him from the agecomm days. Was always fun to talk to.
