My encounter with ACERGAME09

This all happened a few days ago. So here I am, hosting a lobby with the best gamemode known to man, 3v3 deccan. This guy named ACERGAME09 walks in, pr25. "Are you the real acergame?" I ask him. He gives me a Taunt 2. I don't think anything of it cause there's lots of troll accounts who have usernames very similar to top players, and I can't be bothered to remember the numbers that the real acergame has. So we go in game, and he tries to triple rax pike rush Sioux (as France), which fails miserably. So my mate and I flame him and call him a noob and a troll and tell him to go play with corporals blah blah blah.

The next game Fare_ tells me that's the real acergame. Holy shit, can't believe I just flamed a legend and called him a huge noob So the real news is, acergame is back!

Acergame09 might be my favorite player ever.

"a legend". To be fair the guy was nothing special. He just played a final once because the level was very low back then and because I was playing on a shit laptop. Today he wouldn't even be top10.

He reached the finals of ASC Summer 2015. It wasn't a very stacked bracket due to the summer and we haven't done a big summer tournament ever since (hence the weekend tours right now)

He was a dick who managed to reach the finals of an ESOC tournament (summer 2015, lowest level tournament in the history of ESOC). He was pr35ish, barely top10 back then.

He is probably famous 1) for his cursing 2) pulling off an incredible win vs kynesie on manchuria 3) reaching finals of spring tournament. Also he beat diarouga 3-0 in the same tournament

Ah yea, he was also known for making a lot of muskets in lag. To be honest, he was just a weaker version of Somppu.

Not sure how you can say that when he was a 2k3-2k4 player on the ladder (thus not even top 10), and only played in one tournament when everybody was inactive. Today, he probably wouldn't even make it to the RO16.

tbf it seems like he defeated a stacked roster of opponents. shmras in the ro32, rouga yourself in ro16, kynesie ro8, musketjr in semis... all strong players (even if you wish to say you were a captain at the time rouga, you were still pretty dang good)

Rusty shmras (he was 2400ish back then), then 2500 elo rouga who had to play on a shitty laptop because of scheduling issues and who couldn't play well. MusketJR is unconsistent, sometimes he plays really well, and sometimes he is captain level, and he sucked in that series.
Kynesie is the only good opponent he defeated honestly, and that's because he could abuse kynesie's civ pool.
