Why not try for a while to have only EP qs games count towards ladder, after adding decay and/or resetting the current standings. Then have different map sets in rotation. Could reset the ladder and change map set every 2-3 months, and call it a new season.
Pretty sure there was a way to detect if a game was played through qs and not lobby. Could otherwise try to force all lobby created EP 1v1s to be unrated, maybe by automatically force games with 2 slots to be FFA.

That's the same today tbh.

It's still mostly fine for me even in the slowest hours because people on RE will see it hosted and switch patches, or see it on the esoc discord. Wouldn't work with quicksearch.

Like I said these are people generally on the RE patch who then see the lobby on EP and switch. Anyway, what's the whole point here? That rated lobby games are less legitimate because the match-ups aren't random?

dam, not sure if they have access to edit the UI on eso (maybe add a small overlay?)
just a small icon on the side of the Qs to represent if there is someone searching for a game at this moment would be awesome.
