Also take a look at most of the major twitch personalities and streams. Most of them have shied away from sub only streams as it is just considered to be bad business practice. You want to maximise viewership and then monetise those viewers. Keeping viewership low through a pay wall hurts, because it also blocks the casual audience from being valuable elsewhere like supporting on social media or from just keeping chat active. If they can't engage, they disconnect from the space and you've lost your opportunity for growth.
