Hello everyone, it's time for another GUA Subscriber Tournament!

sign ups are open now, you need to be subscribed to my twitch channel as of October 8th in order to participate. Post in this topic or in my discord sub channel that you want to compete in the tournament. Sign ups close October 8st.

Prize pool: $200 USD
1st place: $100 USD
2nd place: $60 USD
3rd place: $40 USD

Thanks to @HeadKilla , @Zutazuta and @spanky4ever for each putting up $50 towards the prize pool.

Rules:

I will take the top 16th subscribers with the highest max EP 1v1 elo and seed them in a bracket of 16 accordingly.
(Players must have a minimum of 10 ranked EP games played on their acc.)

Civ Rules: Every game in the tournament will be random civ and random map. Each player gets 1 civ veto per series. Each player can veto only THEIR civ once per series. If you veto we will respin the wheel and you will be forced to play that new civ. Civs and maps will be chosen during the live stream in the game lobby right before each game starts.

Example: map is Bengal, Kaiser gets german, Kaiser asks for a respin (civ veto). We respin the wheel and Kaiser gets ottomon. Kaiser then has to play as ottoman. Civs and maps can be played multiple times in the same series.

So if one player randomly gets British in game 1, 2 and 3, then they will play that civ in each of those games. The maps will randomly be chosen from maps.php.

If the explorer crack shot bug is used then the player who used it will get a loss immediately for that game, and we will move onto the next game in the series.

RO16: Best of 3
RO8: Best of 5
Semi Finals: Best of 5
Bronze and Finals match: Best of 7

- In the event a player cannot play or doesn't want to play and their already in the bracket then we will replace their spot with the next player in line, with the next closest max ELO.

Tournament starts October 9th and will last 3 weeks. I will cast the series on my twitch channel @ twitch.tv/giveuanxiety

I will cast all the tournament games live @ twitch.tv/giveuanxiety. Players will be given 3 or 4 separate days with the times I have available to stream, players will need to schedule to play their series within the days and times I post.

I have been told that Kaiserklein participated in the event previously and that the Civ Wheel landed on Aztec twice, much to his dismay. But what nobody has told me is if he won despite playing as 1 of 4 civs he does not care for?

You played French, right? Check out diarouga's French guide and follow the build orders and the general tips. Skills like herding and creeping treasures will come eventually and naturally once you've played a few more games. The TP boom and semi-ff are your most important builds. Look at each MU and determine before you get into the game what your game plan and strategy will be for this game and map. You'll be able to get to lieutenant in a matter of days.
