it could be a hard drive thing, big ram usually covers hard drives "slowness" but when you open new files or do things that aren't available in ram in current time it may slow down things and cause the lag. i myself have the same problem as i upgraded everything except hard drive

I upgraded my PC last October, not anything recently.

The game runs on one core.

So your cpu sitting at 16 percent means nothing.

Btw this is my cpu when casting when everyone was complaining about the lag

Idk, need to ask Mitoe about it, but I know he's not picky with lag. Anyway, like I said, we'll see next round if it still lags.
Also yeah I don't think these screenshots mean much, aoe3 is a shitty game and sometimes we don't even know what causes lag, it's not rocket science. All I know is I've experienced so much lag vs you in casual games that I've decided to stop playing vs you. And I'm not lagging at all with a lot of other people. This debate is stale and useless so I'm out.

We're saying it's not Internet lag which would show in the bar, but pc lag which doesn't show, so it's a moot point.

No you didn't, i've already told you it's possible to be on 11 percent cpu usage and the game still lags like it did today which isn't proving your end at all.

How about some expert about lag gives Soldier a fair trial about his apparent pc problem that's affecting the quality of the games. Seems like a witch hunt atm even if it's true there's no direct evidence rather than conjecture.

Every single game I've played with TLS with 4 or more people has lagged. 1v1 seems fine from what I remember? But I'm not sure. We may have had moments of lag in 1v1 as well.

It's almost certainly just that us NA scrubs have a hard time connecting to him for some reason. Not much can be done about it, and not much is gained by complaining about it. It's just an unavoidable reality that you will not be able to get low-latency games with people on different continents 100% of the time.

From the apparent PC specs displayed on screenshot there is literally no reason why the game should be lagging (PC lag) on soldier's part. Old games can behave weirdly on newer hardware though.

Idk mitoe, because it doesnt lag much when we play, maybe a few games out of the many we’ve played together, however i also have connection issues with soldier. I think gibson , skirmisher and kaiser also have connection issues with him. That being said i dont recall it lagging much in my series in the NWC vs him.

Yeah back in NWC times I had no lag with soldier. For me it's really something that happened recently, like the last month or so. It's become unplayable every single time.
And yes like you said, we're a few people who experience lag with soldier, that's the thing. It's not just about TLS.
