Age III: DE Beta sessions starting in early February

Our larger Age III: DE closed beta sessions will be dedicated to multiplayer, matchmaking, and the way the game feels when you play with others. We’ll be kicking off these multiplayer closed beta sessions starting in early February. Our plan is to ramp up by first including fans of the original Age III, so the February session will include a limited number of invitations; however, we’ll be making room for more Age fans and inviting a larger audience come March.

Take some time before Jan. 28 to polish up your Insider settings via your Profile and let us know what and where you like to play! And remember: whether you’re invited to an Age III: DE beta session or not, there will be loads of other ways to take part as an Insider

Anyone else have problems signing up for this website? The amount of hoops you need to jump through ... just made a gmail account, then made an xbox live account, think I've linked the two? Now i have seen 3 different error pages every time i try to log in with no help links and now it's just given up and I get bad gateway. I seem to remember attempting this 3 years ago (no idea why) and failing then too!

When I go onto my profile "I would like to be considered and contacted for Steam/Windows Store Betas" (two check boxes one for steam one for windows store) are defaulted to unchecked. When I check the boxes then hit save it emails me telling me to verify my email address, but when I click the link in the email it just links me to my profile, where it says my email is verified already, and with the two check boxes still unchecked

The invites will go to the hordes of aoe2 players so they can complain how the aoe3:de isn't enough aoe2.

From what I've heard, I'm quite optimistic for AoE3DE.

If you wanna invite, you MUST sign up to be an insider otherwise there is no mechanism for them to get you involved.

It's pretty easy, you do a short survey basically asking your favorite game in the franchise. I expect only people who like AoE3 will be invited.
