Im told on insiders that apparently integrated VRAM is not recommended, if a potato cant play AOE, whats the point lol

I think they want to test how it performs with common hardware... So if you have e.g. i5 and gtx 1060 there's a higher chance of getting in, imo.
Unfortunately i don't think they care much about actual gameplay yet. Probably the release will be at the end of this year.
