To be honest, when I started watching his videos I could barely understand him. That probably also had to do with his bad microphone and my lack of english knowledge.

not really, in dutch I am very talkative but when skyping in english I dont say that much. My brain cant convert thoughts to spoken language quickly enough :p

I have heard that dutch english is really easy to understand for non native speakers though, often even easier than british speakers.
