Obviously, the latest robot patch isn't included but that had no changes other than fixing double-deck exploit and requiring no cd to start the game. Although many of these notes miss the balance changes, but the rest of the changes are typed out. Maybe these can come in handy with other incomplete patch notes?

I even found the complete patch notes for 1.05. The most interesting change is this one "Games that go out of sync no longer create a save game". This is what I said some months ago and now I got the official verficiation :smile:

Added Stand Ground Formation to the game
Units in Stand Ground formation will not move from their position, even when under attack, but will fire upon or attack anything within their range. Stand Ground formation has been added in response to fan feedback and will give players a new level in control over their armies.
Attack move button and hotkey added
In response to fan feedback, official support for Attack Move has been added. Military units will now have a new Attack Move button in the interface. Attack Move also has a hotkey which defaults to X but can be changed via the hotkey editor.
Hispaniola map has been added
This new map is a land mass, surrounded by water, with a large bay on the west side of the island. The bay always contains several whales, so it can be a strategically valuable to control as a source of coin. At the center of the island is a large mountain which provides an obstacle which creates walling options.
Recorded game playback interface improved significantly
During playback of recorded games you can now see the technologies a player is researching and units they are creating. As well you can see each player’s home city and the cards they are sending.
Added Option for minimized multiplayer chat
At the Options screen under UI Options you can select a new option, Enable Minimized Chat UI. This option is for expert players that want to save on screen space.
Added games list filtering options
New filtering options added to the custom games list on ESO.
Added Option to save games list filter settings
At the Options screen under Game Options you can select a new option, Save Game List Filter Settings. If you select this any changes to the custom games list filter will be saved.

Here's some general information on our first implementation of our Power Ratings system:

Beta Power Ratings & Ladder

The beta version of our Power Rating system has gone live with patch 1.05. This is a level based rating system that calculates a number of factors to assign a player a rating based on the games they have played. The ladder is designed to place a player at their level quickly, so new players will move through the ranks relatively fast. Players can range in skill from level 0-50, with each rank assigned a title:

All rated games count towards your ranking, these include quick search and custom games. For team games, all members of the team gain or lose the same amount. The ranking ladder is unique in that it will not reset every few months as the rest of the game ladders do.

You can view a player’s rating in several areas on ESO. You can mouse over a player’s avatar in the game setup window to find their Power Rating or view their Home City. The top 1000 rated players can be viewed on the Power Rating ladder, and custom games now display the rank of the player hosting the game.

We are still fine tuning a number of things when it comes to computing a player’s level, including how quickly you advance or lose levels. We may be adjusting these in the future, or resetting the beta ladder entirely. We look forward to receiving player feedback on the new system as we fine tune it.

Skirmisher speed reduced by 1

This is very interesting. So skirms used to be 5 speed. I didn't remember this from my nilla days.

Obviously unrelated, as the sound bug still exists in the most recent aoe3 version. Games was and still is full of bugs tbh. There is so much ESOC can do as some things are still hardcoded into the game.

I think its in the cutscene after the first campaign mission. I remmember Morgan calling Sahin ''Turiskish dog''.This has not been the case bascially in any other version. The only reason i remmeber is from early pirate copies.

I think its in the cutscene after the first campaign mission. I remmember Morgan calling Sahin ''Turiskish dog''.This has not been the case bascially in any other version. The only reason i remmeber is from early pirate copies.
That must be it. I remember that being in my old cd version of the game, but I just checked and it's not there now. Seems like an odd thing to remove though.

Holy hell people, how do you remember voice lines from the aoe3 campaign? :ohmy: Especially a specific one that this change might address?
I only played a couple of missions and it wa so bad I had to abort...
Some people just astound me :hmm:

I was a little kid and I had nothing better to do than replay the campaigns. Didn't have good enough internet to play online.
Yeah the nilla campaigns were pretty awful. Expansions were a bit better. AOE2 campaigns were the best though. I hate King Alfonso so much more than the Jaguar Illuminati.

Problem was they made ahistorical campaigns with customised civs in a historical game. I mean a Scottish catholic knight from Malta going to the New World to help the Aztec fight against the Spanish sounds a bit far-fetched...
