Will hacks still work on DE?

Will moesbar and maphack work on AOE3 DE? Like, I hope not, new game files and such should make the map-hack at least not work right, as for moesbar I don't see the changing anything but what if, guys can u imagine a world of aoe without hacks. Dream..

P2P is pretty old school. Every tech company and their mother is building giant server warehouses in the Midwest. I think server based matchmaking is a possibility.

Moesbar hacks are possible due to a very stupid mistake by microsoft. Its hardly even a hack. They will definitely patch this out.

Probably, microsoft isn't known for it's fine polished games, if you don't believe me look at all the DE issues on AOE2 and AOM.

Of course they will. All games have vulnerabilities and hacks. Hopefully DE will have a competent moderation and development team to deal with cheats.

Ofc the known hacks shouldn't work anymore, unless the DE team is completely incompetent (which is possible). I think by now they have been made aware of moesbar, maphack etc. And I believe moesbar should be especially easy to block (if EP can block most moesbar hacks, surely the team developing the actual game can completely block it).

I think Moesbar is a really special case. It's hardly even a hack, this stuff is just literally coded into the game and available for all players. I believe you just need a tiny bit of coding to access god mode. The devs basically left the god mode commands in the game for testing or something, and now it turns out that it's possible to access this stuff. For DE you can just remove these god commands from the code, and then it should be fixed. Maphack will probably be a bit harder to fix. This is a more intricate sort of hack, as far as I know.

No. I kept doing wild strats from the year 2005 basically dota1 and players didn't like me so I got reported numerous times on numerous accounts and I noticed recently that two years now I haven't been able to connect to a dota2 server.. and I just realized why. I even let the que go for 1 hour before and nothing :(
