The Logitech mice are quite good. Another well known brand is Razer but their mice are usually more expensive (and not always better).

Re: Best mouse gamer for aoe3?
Yeah I am. I've been using it for about 4 years. I personally love it, but I think it's not the best RTS mouse for everyone. Each time you hit a side button the cursor is affected slightly, which could compromise precision. It's also heavier than the average mouse, so it might not be the best for the erratic movements of RTS games? No idea about this honestly.
Still though, I'm so glad I use it. My left hand dexterity just isn't good enough for me to incorporate all of the hotkeys that I want to on the keyboard, and the mouse supplements that. Call it a crutch, w.e. There are also different mouse sensor types that are allegedly better. Does it really matter for amateur RTS though? Idk.
But everyone is going to say that they love their mouse. The Logitech G502 seems to be the most advocated for here on the forums.

I prefer the G402 over the G502 but it's a matter of taste.

Re: Best mouse gamer for aoe3?
any mouse with decent sensor and little lag is going to be good. even modern office mice from name brands costing 10$ are good enough (you're looking at wired mouse at this price).
there is no specific requirement for this game, you just want a mouse that you will like using. think of the following:
- what kind of shape you like? symmetrical or not?
- what kind of buttons do you want? less or more? maybe many buttons for thumb? what kind of scroll wheel?
- what compromise you want between price and your liking? do you care about the price?
- do you want it wireless? what compromises are you willing to make here?
- any preference in name brands etc.
there are many good channels on youtube that review popular mice. for some it's even their channel specialty

depends highly on what mouse size you prefer. For example deathadder and co are quite big ( for me ). I used to have an abyssus from razer which was great, but broke quite quickly. Now i have a roccat lua, also a very small mouse and very durable. you def dont have to invest 80 bucks for a good mouse, but in the end only you can tell which mouse is good for you.

Re: Best mouse gamer for aoe3?
after some research on size and shape i chose razer abyssus v1 as a great affordable option. this was in 2012.
the plastic bit that pushes the clicks wore out in about a year so i had to do some tinkering to get the mouse clicking again, but the mouse is still going.
last year i bought a razer abyssus essential because i needed another mouse and i liked the shape. it's the same as v1 except the clicking problem is fixed

Re: Best mouse gamer for aoe3?
My razer abyssus mouse has been going strong for 4 years now. Not to say that it can't break quickly, but I think 4 years for how intensively I use my mouse is pretty good. I also paid only ~25 euros for it (45 for the mouse + the goliath mousepad), which I think is actually really cheap.lordraphael wrote:depends highly on what mouse size you prefer. Performance-wise it's been an amazing mouse too. It's really comfortable and the two buttons are exactly as clicky as I want. In terms of size I love it. I have rather large hands but I have a 'finger' grip, as in I don't actually use my palm at all, so this size seems perfect. I also would really hate having a differently shaped mouse, I never found those comfortable. This are all things to consider.

Logitech and Zowie are safe bets. Razer and Steelseries are bad from my limited experience.
I've never read anything negative about Roccat and Corsair.
