Hi,
After tit let me know that Kynesie streamed to the chinese counterpart to twitch, Donuyu, i was wondering if someone who understands and uses the site could explain something to me.
The viewers are, from my understanding, are distinquished by a flame icon. However these counts seem to be huge, with very few people actually typing comparatively, in the same regards when you click on the icon it says it's some sort of number that is tied to view count but isn't viewcount?

Re: Understanding Douyu
It's a number derived by a combination of viewer count, number of messages sent, number of donations and maybe some other things.
It is not strictly viewers.

I remember that always the starcraft data "reports" of audience after tournaments has china separated, as a tournament will have 50k viewers arround the world, and another 2 million in china. yeah sure.
