Hey everyone! As you know the patch team has been hardworking to deliver a balanced and great patch, today we wanted to ask your thoughts about possible Cuir nerf in late game (imperial age), that's because:

- Japan (daimyo-shogun/pavillion), China(Oldhan), Ports, (20 range goon) and partially Sioux (Bowider) has been nerfed for balance purposes

- France Cuirs which is arguably the best unit in the game didn't recieve any nerf stat wise

- They are breaking the unit counter system in late game

Cuirs are weak in fortress since you cant upgrade them like huss or nagis. These two get 20%/20% for basically free every game, kinda ridiculous.

well when you 1v1 a france guy, and he pop 5 + 3 cuir ( wtf ) with fast age, and it comes at like 9min max, you don't really need cc to crush eveything

Having them scale from age2 stats instead of from fortress stats would cut their scaling significantly without affecting their age 3 stats. When you scale from fortress stats you scale 20% harder so
-royal guard upgrade is 48% from "age 2 stats"
-imperial up is 60%
-cuirass is 12%
-cards are 18%

Scaling from colonial would take this down to normal, bring a total (if im not missing a card here, dont play france) -31% from imperial stats

I hate 1x1 players so much. Nooo, not my heckin cuirrerinos, they are fine in fortress, who cares about any other game mode!11!!
Fuck you, they can be nerfed without even affecting their fortress stats by any measure. Just fucking scale them from colonial stats and be done with it.
Altho, reducing their build limit to 20 would be nice as well tbh. Fuck cuirassiers, really.

Having everyone climb from age 2 is ideal as long as the other units, which also scale from age 3, are rebalanced.

Mahouts and Howdahs scale as age 2 units even though there's no way you can get them in age 2.
Not because Cuirrs will scale from age 2 every unit should scale from age 2.

Anyway, yes they should scale from colo stats. Quite elegant and efficient solution. I proposed that before leaving the patch team, but some ignorants wanted to make imperial cuirs +30% lmao. Not sure if it will be adopted
