Chinas eco is not bad since they can make vills while aging and have a summer palace worth 4 vills and a porcelain tower worth 8 vills. They also get export which is like a 5%eco boost. History is not relevant because in history china never went to the new world.

Meteor hammers are awesome though. Cav stats are fucking insane, but they have so much pathing issues that there attack is really half of what it would be if they were a ranged unit. Maybe more like 10%. Meteor hammers have almost no pathing issues, especially in conjunction with melee cav. I think when comparing meteor hammers to hussars, you should just double their attack to actually match reality. And iron flails effectively have less pathing issues than huss too, due to the presence of meteor hammers, so in practice they probably suffer much less from pathing issues than hussars do.

Thats probably the biggest thing about chinese cav. Thats why they always seem to perform much better than they should according to their stats.

As much as this post is an exaggeration in most general, I agree with the essence of it.
