Don't presume to lecture me on critical thinking. Microsoft has been sued for numerous infractions by both private parties and the government. Also, it may have escaped the notice of your towering intellect, but there were Microsoft games in that list. In any case, I'm not going to engage you further on the matter, as I can see no further purpose. One last tip, the guy who becomes emotional, which is revealed by, among other things, resorting to profanity, usually does so because he knows he's losing.

dont get a ps4... plz dont... just play on pc and if you really want to get a a gaming controller for pc for 20-40 bucks ps or xbox design from best buy. hella big waste of money if u get a ps4. btw did u play bf2 mulitiplayer? what mode did u play and what was your username?

not really a waste of money..... No I didnt play multi-player I just play coop and single player.

Only login servers are down, so you don''t get kicked from the server but people can''t login atm.

If this is accurate, then my 2 theories can be presented, which both present the same idea.

First off, the information provided:

-There was at one point many servers running.
-There are always a number of players that are still online
-The servers are not offline, but only the bare minimum is running.

?People that looked after AOE3 server were laid off by Microsoft.
-I suppose the funding for the servers is incredibly low now.

?Someone says they got on after countless attempts of connecting.
-The server must indeed be online and running functionally.

Theory 1: ESO Servers are under DDoS* attack because someone noticed that minimum amount of servers are running, and workers have been getting laid off, meaning there probably is no longer enough server resources available to stop a medium-sized attack.

Theory 2 (Biased, this is a joke): The attacker was angered that Ryz0n was laid off and decided to attack the servers to show her anger to Microsoft Games.

I really doubt that at this point they would change anything to do with the servers other than "it ain''t broke don''t fix", so I can vouch a ton on the DDoS theory.

* - DDoS stands for Distributed Denial of Service attack. It is an attack where multiple computers spam a server with garbage in order to overload it with requests, and cause denial of service to legitimate users due to the server''s inability to handle any more input.
