Re: Aoe3 and lazy
This is the case for me most of the time. I end up wasting time on twitch/youtube. This week however I have regenerated my willingness to get abused by lt cols.

The higher pr the more mentally exhausting it can be.
Re: Aoe3 and lazy
Yeah definitely, it takes a lot out of you to play games at your peak performance level. Itâs emotionally and mentally exhausting to try hard. But Iâve found that itâs a lot easier if you adopt the mindset of âis only gaem, y u hef 2 b madâ and not take it so seriously, and especially stop caring about ranking at all

Re: Aoe3 and lazy
That's why I play 3v3 games on sergeant lvl with ridiculously stupid self-imposed restrictions to keep the low lvl.
Whatever is written above: this is no financial advice.

Fatigue in any hobby is normal. You shouldn't spend the entire day behind your pc. Take up some other hobbies as well.

Playing stresses me out too much tbh.
Re: Aoe3 and lazy
This has nothing to do with fatigue, that is just the aoe3:DE release excitement lingering in the back of your head, your body oozes happiness and craves for it

Re: Aoe3 and lazy
Playing a new civ may help you get back into it. However it'll be equally frustrating for like 5 games till you get into groove of the civ if that makes any sense.

Re: Aoe3 and lazy
Unless I'm playing with a person or people I know and can voice chat during, I just don't much feel like playing. I guess that's why I haven't played much in the past couple years and haven't played at all in like a year. Most people I played with are in the States and time zones are a bitch. I do miss it a lot.

i feel this, aoe3 was a lot more laid back before i started using hotkeysImperial Noob wrote:I have never liked the PvP aspects of multiplayer gaming, because the necessity to execute this and that at any given moment interferes with my designs for interaction with the in-game environment. But other than that, I suppose I am too lazy to use hotkeys, for example. I prefer to leisurely cruise around with the mouse pointer.

The only reason I post on this forum is so I can claim I'm still "in the aoe3 scene". Tho everyone knows it's bs.evilcheadar wrote:Anyone else too lazy to play AoE3? I just donât feel like playing but I like the idea of playing.
