EPCM Wastebin Wars #2 Greetings again folks! The EPCM (EP Captains & Majors) Wastebin Wars is a series of events focused on players between the PR26 through PR31 skill range, organized via the EPCM discord server created by @Black_Duck. Similar to the PR20-PR25 discord server created by @dutchdude117, the EPCM discord server is a place for players Captain & Major skill level to play together & practice on a regular basis.
This iteration of the Wastebin Wars will feature both 1v1s and 2v2s, so please be sure to read the rules before signing up!
You can sign-up by posting in this thread with the following three items:
1) Your ESO name
2) Your discord tag
3) Your preferred format (1v1, 2v2, or if you don't mind playing either)
- Keep in mind that if you are drafted, you may need to play in your non-preferred format
- Signups open Friday, September 11th and close on Thursday, September 17th
- Draft will probably be on Friday, September 18th
- You must be present in the EPCM discord server to enter the tournament
- players ranked PR26 through PR31 are welcome to sign up - if you're a bit above or below those ranks you may join as well though there's no guarantee you'll be picked at draft
The second iteration of the Wastebin Wars will take the following format:
- 2 teams (team managers @minimoult21 for the Little Lieutenant Colonels and @kaister for the Garjonians)
- 18-man snake draft, with 9 players drafted to each team, including 1 substitute player
- 6 different matchups, including four 1v1 matchups and two 2v2 matchups
- 1v1 matches are best-of-5, NWC civ rules
- 2v2 matches are best-of-3, rules clarified further down in the spoiler
- winner of the match scores a point for the team, loser earns nothing
- a team wins if they earn 4 or more points
- if the teams are tied 3-3 then managers select 3 player matchups for the tiebreak
- whichever team wins 2 matches at tiebreak wins the event
- Played on EP9 Beta
- 1v1 Map Pool: to be decided
- 2v2 Map Pool: to be decided
- prize pool of $200, split evenly among the members of the winning team
- matches deadline is Sunday, October 4th
- tiebreak deadline is Sunday, October 11th
