What do you think about the ESO-C Name situation?

Before the upcoming release of Aoe3 DE, we all know that the majority of the legacy game will move to the new game. And the website name "ESO-C" comes from Ensemble Studios Online Community. But since we won't play on ESO anymore, is it reasonable to call it as "ESO-C" still? What do you think?

What distinguishes this forum from the official microsoft aoe3 de forum is that it's primarily a place for discussing competitive aoe3, so the name should reflect that. But it should definitely have aoe3 in the name, so it appears on google when people search aoe3

but unfortunately you cannot find it with "eso" or "esoc" or "eso community". just one of the annoying ways google works...

@EAGLEMUT ah ok. Still though, if I was a total noob (im not im actually a full pro) and I was googling aoe3 I would probably click the second or third link first

Interestingly the heaven games age 3 forums appear before esoc in google. I guess Age of Empires 2 is generating enough traffic there. I don't think renaming is a smart idea because esoc is already an established brand. Plus the search engine might punish a name change.

I'm not sure it matters what we're called, as long as people can easily find us via search engines using relevant keywords. But I wouldn't be opposed to a name change either.

Nobody Googles for ESOC to find an Age of Empires 3 community though, so that's not really an issue.
