Which are the hardest civs to play well?

China
Japan
Brit
Aztec
Spain
Dutch
Port
French, Iro, Rusia
Sioux
Germany

Maybe cause I started on nilla but I do agree the Asian civs are a lot tougher to play as. Also, you listed Ports twice... assuming you meant Sioux. Edit that shit Ovi!

The hardest civ is the civ you don't play much at all. This is excluding otto and Iroq ofc

Not necessarily. I don''t play sioux at all but I think it''d be pretty easy for me to pick it up

If you play sioux at a colonel level then you would think differently. Ofc youll be able to beat majors with sioux

How is india hardest whenever I'm playing rush it's the civ I dominate most with.

Are you saying a colonel who doesnt play sioux cant play at colonel level wihin the first few games with sioux? If a colonel doesnt play india or sioux, he will need many more games with india to play them at a colonel level than he will need with sioux.

Maybe it means if you played another civ just as much you would be a higher rank. The higher up you go the harder it gets to win games with india.

At like captain+ level both 10/10 and slow agra rush are no problem at all. Then you often have to win vs vet goon, skirm, cav, and falconets with ghurka zamb and sowar. Oh and by the way if you dont play super well you cant even outmass them.

i think aztecs and portugese are difficult civs. Spain and china require good micro

I think this depends a lot on opinions.

Because in my opinion i find Germany to be way harder than just second easiest

Spain china and aztec are pretty high on the list, but I don''t think port is a hard civ, it''s just bad. I don''t think its much harder than france

There are some matchups where it''s hard to play germany (like vs french) but I think in most games you just do cav semi and continue making only cav uhlans from stable while shipping skirms and win

Thats not the problem. For me as a like always french/british player I get massive housing problems because of free Uhlans :/

For me it's probably Aztecs and Portuguese in no particular order. Aztecs are incredibly fun, but playing them at a high level can be tough and I haven't seen many people who can do this. Ports are just a mediocre civ and getting the most mileage out of them requires real talent.

All you have to do is plan ahead with you houses. Like for example when you semi ff you know that you will make 1 house in transition and 2 houses from 400w. Also sell food/buy wood are fine trades in the market, and settler wagons build really fast.

Yeah I almost completely agree with that list.
I'd only place China on the middle, I don't find them a particularly hard civ to master.

Hardest: Azzy

Hard: China/japan/port/india

rather hard: Dutch/brit/spain

Easy: Ger/fre/iro/russia

Broken:Sioux/otto
