My input on ESOC Patch so far

I made a video summarizing my thoughts on what ESOC patch tries to achieve and the reasons for and against it

The video is largely aimed at people who don't know anything about the patch. Send these kind of people to the video wherever you find them (if they have a genuine interest - it's a long video!)

I hope Interjection is by now aware that the EP1.0 was never intended to balance every thing about every civilization to begin with. For example, it is not thought that Spanish are now perfectly balanced ?? it is rather thought that Spanish were at one point not really intended to be affected directly by the patch at all, and that the civilization was indeed barely touched at all. Future releases may include more diverse changes.

Spain aren't as bad as people think, they are just not played well.
Blackstar raped veni's fre with spain for example (I m not saying spain>fre but the MU isn't totally hopeless).

right but i still see no point of using them ina team game right? i mean if u want to boom u rather pick fre brit or port.. if u want to rush and stay colonial u rather take fre brit russ, if u want to ff u rather use fre port ... i actually see just one useful thing and thats some kind of fast ruah early on...

Yeah, they aren t good in team, but again, we don t aim to balance team in the 1st patch. Otherwise jap/otto/dutch would be nerfed hard which they don t need in 1v1.

Not every treaty cup vod is uploaded, but the last few are. For Winter Tourney, !every! good vod will be uploaded, don't worry.
