Any way to disable the intro in TAD?

If you make a text file with ~nointrocinematics written and save it as user.con in your Documents/My Games/Age of Empires III/Startup folder, it should skip the intro.

1. Go to C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesAge of Empires IIIavi or C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonAge Of Empires 3inavi
2. Delete or Move the following files : age3.bik, age3x.bik, age3y.bik and logos.bik.

3. Go to C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesAge of Empires III or C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonAge Of Empires 3in
4. Delete or Move splashimage.bmp

[color=ff0000]NOTE : Do not touch Splash.bmp[/color]

ps : bold text fails :/

You know you could just right click and start with no video right? It gives you two options, no video or no sound.

For years I have used a mod that skips the intro, removes the animated home city (which really helps speed up AoE3) and categorizes the main menu buttons. I tell you when I find it :p

If you're making mods for that kind of stuff, why not just make a mod that simply asks for your password and then boots the game and immediately logs you into ESO?

And then hosts a game called eso-community.net

Or maybe one that caches your password as well, Just press one icon and it jumps you into ESO or just the logon screen instead, with the option to go back to main menu, would be pretty OP.

Yeah, tap the spacebar. It certainly takes less time and effort than messing with files.

I disagree. Adding it to your shortcut takes 30 seconds max, never have to skip again.
