North American Matchmaking
Are there any players here in North America? I haven't played online in years but am looking to get into it and don't want to just start randomly joining public games. I understand theory and have some of my custom hotkeys set. I'd like to match up with other players nearby so as to reduce the lag as much as possible. I'm on the west coast.

I would recommend just joining games and then checking the ping (colored bar under the players). If it is green I rarely if ever have any problems. . .

Lag towards people on the other side of the atlantic is actually fairly good. I have never had problems playing people who are far away. Even in SC2, the latency to NA is fine.
Great to see a new face. Add me on ESO if you want.

It''s GameRanger. Between cheaters, ragers, and compatibility problems (that place makes ESO look like the height of good manners), you would be wise to give GR a wide berthcowhax wrote:What''s GR? Sorry I barely know abbreviations.
The function of man is to live, not to exist.
