Least Played Civ?
Least Played Civ?
I feel this will be "spam" or something. However I am just curious, as in 1 v 1 I rarely see sioux but in team there everywhere. So we could even do least played team civ, and least played 1 v 1 civ. ( Im talking Sup)

I'm pretty sure Spain is the least played civ, I'm assuming both in team and in 1v1.

These are the player stats from agecomm http://www.agecommunity.com/player_stats_yp.aspx
I'm not sure if they still update, given that agecomm hasn't been used by anyone for quite some time, but I can only assume that the percentages are decent estimates of current usages (at least on RE patch). Sioux, Ports, Spain are the least used civs according to that link.

Re: Least Played Civ?
Just confirmed that agecomm is still tracking current games, amazingly enough. I'd be interested to know exactly what mechanism is in place that feeds information from ESO straight to agecomm.

After every game, there is "stats succesfully uploaded". where the online number of people is.

People like walls, sioux got no walls.
Spain was nerfed into oblivion from vanilla.
Portugal not used because of no villager shipments

Just because a civ is played a lot, does not mean that it is OP; that is incredibly flawed reasoning.
The function of man is to live, not to exist.

10/10 logic

Highly disagreed. Ports/Dutch are rarest civs to find in quicksearch.
You literally have least probability to find a Portuguese opponent in quicksearch, while most probability to find a Japanese opponent.
Its like
Japan>Otto>French>British/India>China/Germany>Iro/Sioux/Aztec/Spain/Russia>Ports/Dutch

I agree, I'm not surprised japs of all civs are most popular. I's a good go-to civ when you are tired of herding for example, just as otto is good when you're tired of training vils. It takes som stress off everything. Maybe also a good beginner civ because of cherries? Well that's just my theory

"Total games: 429 826 386 726 677 "
I'm not so sure about this. This means that if every single living person on earth bough the game, they would have to play 61403 games each in order to reach that number.
Re: Least Played Civ?
Hmm I have decided that I will play only portugal and see how it goes.

Only Ports = Suicde
I'm by no means a good player but I'm a QS player.
I expected the stats to be worse tbh.

No it confirms Japanese is a popular civilization to play. Popularity at higher skill levels is much more closely related to strength. Also, it seems to me that a lot of people agree Japanese are OP.

Re: Least Played Civ?
its because japans has no clear counter civs and if you dont beat them in a certain timeframe, you lose
