That debate is hilarious cause the theory gets wrecked by the fact you can change it to w/e the hell ya want.
Here is what mine look like. I standardized all the colors, so the colors you see in drop down are the same colors on the units, as well as the same colors on the mini map. This is ESO friendly, you just need to drop it into your "data" folder.
Also I think turquoise is more commonly referred to as teal
Wrongly unfortunately. Cyan or turquoise are more appropriate for what we got in AOE3.
Teal and cyan overlap. The light blue color could be considered a lighter shade of teal or a form of cyan (which is a very broad term). It is definitely NOT turquoise, which has an element of green by definition.

I'm not sure if you are conflating them or not but flaming != harassment. Also, the second part doesn't even make sense because most other people on the Internet take at least some interactions seriously while also making jokes at other times...
